About the Collective Growth Conference 2026

Collect Northwest is proud to present a conference tailored to credit union employees with a focus on revenue, operations, and internal poilcy!  This one-of-a-kind event features speakers and exhibitors chosen to enhance the quaility work for credit union employees, specifically the C-Suite level, Operations Management, and Receivables and Collections!  This conference is intended to help improve the entire member experience, increase effectiveness of the A/R cycle, improve policies and procedures, shore up potential liabilities, and gain a deeper understanding of the political aspects of policymakers at the capitol.

This one and a half day conference, scheduled for May 7-8, 2026 in Portland, will feature speakers from financial institution regulators, legislators with a focus on consumer and financial issues, attorneys specializing in contracts and defense, A/R cycle and collections, bankruptcy, auto loan deficiency negotiations and solutions, Best Practices, and much more!

Brian began in the collection industry in 1990 as a salesperson for Southern Oregon Credit Service in Medford, Oregon.  He and his wife Denise purchased the company in 2001 when the owners retired.  Over the years, they shifted the focus of the company from a primarily healthcare collection company with 16 employees to a focus in three primary areas; fiancial services, government debts, and healthcare. CNW  has close to 30 employees with four locations across the northwest.  

Brian has twice served as president of the Oregon Collectors Association and served as the Legislative Chair for over 20 years.  He has served in numerous roles with ACA International including on the Board of Directors, and as a Certified Instructor for over 15 years teaching classes on best-practices across the country.

Brian has been the primary presenter for CNW at their annual Collection Forums for nearly 30 years, bringing insight, humor and experience to the collection seminar!  In addiation to numerous commnunity invovements and working in their company, Brian and Denise love spending time with with their family of four children and seven grandchildren.
